My name is Minh Tri Huynh, a Civil Engineering Technologist by trade. In 2019, I joined Thurber Engineering Ltd., a geotechnical and engineering material consulting company. My role as a Quality Control/Assurance Inspector was to ensure the contractors followed the project specifications and inspected construction materials, including soils, concrete, asphalt, rebars to confirm they met the requirements necessary for structures such as roads, highways, buildings, and drainage system.

However, as time passed, I found myself yearning for a change. In March 2022, after nearly three years in the field, I made a decision to transition into Computer Programming. The spark was ignited when I was introduced to Computer Science with CS50 where I found the sheer joy of solving complex problems. In January 2023, I made up my mind to return to Seneca College and take Computer Programming & Analysis program to pursue a new career path in this exciting field.
